Millennium Landscape & Construction is owned by Heather Jellerson, and managed with the help of her husband, Keith. Heather has been an accidental gardener for 30 years, and a professional one for 18 years now – and she jokes that she was an indentured servant to her Mom growing up on 10 acres on Lake Sammamish. Heather’s interest in landscaping grew from an attraction to beautiful spaces, and a life-long concern for the environment. Her fascination with plants really bloomed when she bought her first house in the Greenlake neighborhood, and had to learn how to garden in the shade. She began her first summer as a landscaper helping out some clients of her soon-to-be husband Keith, out of the back of her Jetta. Calluna’s Gardens was born the next year. Calluna’s became Millennium in 2017.
We are currently 19 team members strong: Our GM Keith, is running 3 construction crews these days, and we are looking to add more team members so we can get to more jobs! Heather and our three Maintenance teams tend to gardens from West Seattle to Marysville and almost every city in between! Lizzie runs the office with a smile, and Alana, our Project Assistant, is everyone’s back up person, doing all sorts of crazy things we couldn’t fit into a regular job description.
Our job as builders is to take great ideas and make them work in our challenging NW terrain. We are creative problem solvers, who are OK with getting muddy.
We love the trend of adding metal to the garden, and we are having a blast finding new and different ways to use metal in the landscape.
We’re hell bent on making sure we ALL eat healthy, and know what we are eating. We LOVE helping families build and maintain edible gardens.
There are literally thousands of companies that do what we do. Our goal is to be better at assisting our clients, and helping them design, build and maintain the garden of their dreams, than anyone else.
